Gokusen Series (1, 2 & 3) (Japanaese)
"Fight(-o)! Oh!"this drama is an adaptation of a manga, which depicts the lifes of japanese high school students. singapore will never be able to produce this kinda drama (since sg is so safe) =/ this drama revolves around students facing problems with bullying, gang fights, delinquency and all the bad stuff which
yankumi, the teacher who is also the 4th generation of the yakuza (a gangster clan in japan), will try to correct them.
and because this drama was from a manga, get ready to have lots of manga-like comedy (the kind of comedy which you will associate with lame-ness). this drama is also a tear-jerker! so prepare your tissue boxes emo(tional) freaks lol. i cried the most when i watched Gokusen 2 becauce i started from that, while the rest of the series didn't seem as touching, maybe because i watched parts 1, 2 and 3 one after another lol
the good thing about this drama is that when i first started watching it, (i watched it in this sequence 2-1-3), it was really good and i really enjoyed every moment in every episode. however as i continue watching the next series, the concept of the show started to lose its novelty and got boring, because it's always
yankumi saving her students from trouble.
did i mention that yankumi is pretty without her dorky look? lol
